The client aimed to decrease financial losses from delayed credit card fraud blocking by enhancing Fraud Prevention & Detection systems. This entailed minimizing the latency in transmitting analytical data to the BigData repository situated 900 miles away from the source databases.

Implemented real-time data replication between source databases and Big Data infrastructure.
Enabled online reporting within the Big Data environment, facilitated by data replication using Oracle GoldenGate.
Consolidated multiple databases into a single centralized location for enhanced efficiency and accessibility.

• 85% increase in transaction speed, reducing the time for data to travel 900 miles between the transaction system and big data anti-fraud analytics from 8 seconds to just 1.2 seconds.
