PaxCon 2022
After a 2-year pandemic induced hiatus, Pax US is hosted its PaxCon conference at the Hilton
Resort in Orlando for their ever-expanding reseller base. Over 500 attendees were there to see
all of the new Pax products and services and were not disappointed. CEP Andy Chau started the
sessions with the Company’s substantial growth around the world and their continued plans for
success. North America now accounts for the second largest revenue center of their global
operations and continues to grow at record pace despite supply channel challenges.
Pax displayed the products they have been developing since the previous conference, as well as
their insight into future markets. Hardware introductions included new COTS payment
terminals, kiosks, a full component POS system with a voice/data feature for in-store personnel
communications and data features for real-time shelf label updates. They even had a robot
prototype server traveling around the Pax display area to everyone’s delight.
Pax also previewed their vision for providing connectivity for assorted business functions
beyond pure payments. They introduced a hub/gateway concept of sorts to manage POS+
services including inventory control, installment transactions, merchant/customer
communication and more.
Conference sessions covered the rapid post-pandemic acceptance of CPoC contactless
payments, industry growth insights supplied by a panel from Discover and Visa, and how Pax
supports its various vertical markets.
The evening was capped off with a bus convoy for 500+ plus attendees and staff to Epcot
Center for cocktails, dinner and entertainment. Post dinner, Epcot did not disappoint
presenting their world renowned 30-minute laser/fireworks display, followed by a realistic
driving experience at the Epcot Test Track feature. Despite being rained on throughout the
evening at Epcot, it is fair to say that the attendees had a night to remember courtesy of Pax
US!
