How are you different than other brands in your space?
If I had to summarize it in one sentence, we have a team that truly cares, providing technology that easily adapts to our customers’ needs and drives real business results. Alacriti differentiates itself through a rare combination of deep payments expertise, modern technology, and a partner-first approach. Unlike legacy providers or narrowly focused vendors, our Orbipay Payments Hub is a cloud-native, API-first platform that supports instant, ACH, wire, and card payments—all built on an ISO 20022-native, microservices-based architecture. With over 20 years of experience and trusted by institutions like Bank of America, U.S. Bank, and Navy Federal Credit Union, we deliver intelligent automation, integrated compliance, and rapid deployment that other providers struggle to match. Our low client attrition, high satisfaction, and commitment to collaborative innovation make us a true partner—not just a vendor—in payments modernization.
How would you describe your value proposition to prospective customers and channel partners?
Alacriti’s value proposition lies in delivering a future-ready, cloud-native payments platform that unifies and modernizes rails—ACH, the RTP® network, the FedNow® Service, wires, and cards—under a single, intelligent hub. Our Orbipay Payments Hub offers unmatched agility, scalability, and automation across the full payments lifecycle. It provides comprehensive performance visibility across all your payments, improves back office operations, and, most importantly, empowers financial institutions to deliver innovative services and an improved user experience to both consumer and commercial customers. We help financial institutions modernize with speed and confidence, offering seamless integration with existing systems, out-of-the-box compliance, and rapid deployment. For channel partners and technology partners, Alacriti offers a high-velocity delivery model, collaborative go-to-market support, and proven success with some of the largest banks and credit unions in the U.S., all while maintaining one of the lowest attrition rates in the industry.
What recent challenges have your company’s leadership faced and how have you overcome them?
A recent challenge involved helping financial institutions meet growing demand for faster payments while still relying on legacy infrastructure. Many lacked the resources or roadmap to support multiple payment rails, real-time processing, and API-based integration. Alacriti overcame this by accelerating the rollout of enhanced orchestration capabilities in its Orbipay Payments Hub for Instant Payments, including intelligent payment routing, built-in liquidity management, and real-time fraud prevention. Through rapid, modular deployment and white-glove implementation support, we empowered clients to modernize on their terms—without disrupting existing systems or customer experiences.
What recent milestone have you achieved and why is it significant?
In 2024, Alacriti achieved a major milestone by expanding its market share among $1B+ credit unions to over 18%, driven by successful partnerships with institutions seeking scalable ACH and instant payments capabilities. This growth reflects our strategic focus on mid-market financial institutions and the strong demand for our automation-first, API-driven solutions. It also highlights our ability to deliver results at scale while maintaining personalized, responsive service across a diverse client base.
What near-term opportunities will 2025 present to you and your team?
In 2025, the convergence of the FedNow Service and RTP network adoption, ISO 20022 migration for wires, and growing expectations for payments orchestration presents a significant opportunity. Alacriti is uniquely positioned to lead in this space by offering a unified platform that enables intelligent routing, cross-rail visibility, and embedded compliance across all payment types. In 2024, we led the market in receiving and sending instant payments. We expect this trend to continue. We also expect continued momentum in ACH and wire modernization, demand for faster B2B disbursements, and increased interest from fintechs and digital banking providers looking to integrate scalable payments infrastructure via API.
What’s a key trend for your industry in 2025, and why do you think it’s important?
A key trend for 2025 is the increasing importance of centralized payment orchestration across multiple rails. As institutions adopt the FedNow Service, expand the use of the RTP network, and modernize ACH and wire, siloed systems are becoming a liability, causing inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and limited visibility, and ultimately hurting the user experience. Institutions that unify payment processing within a single orchestration layer will be better equipped to optimize liquidity, meet customer demands, and adapt to real-time expectations. Alacriti’s Orbipay Payments Hub enables banks and credit unions to deliver services anytime, on any device, to both retail and commercial users—providing competitive capabilities against both traditional institutions and fintech challengers. Alacriti’s architecture and product roadmap are purpose-built to support this evolution.
