Adam “Sully” Perella, adam.perella@schellman.com
How are you different than other brands in your space?
Schellman is a partner to its clients, and we build trust with them over time. This means answering questions outside of the assessment cycle and providing insights to our clients ahead of their next one. Our clients are businesses, and our communications help both of us be more successful.
How would you describe your value proposition to prospective customers and channel partners?
Compliance fatigue is a real issue. Schellman is able to leverage evidentiary controls across multiple assessment types to lessen this burden.
What recent challenges have your company’s leadership faced and how did you overcome them?
Schellman has grown a lot over the last few years. As an organization, we put a lot of effort into teambuilding to not lose the feeling of cooperation and collaboration as a remote workforce.
What recent milestone have you achieved and why is it significant?
Schellman became the first ISO 42001 ANAB accredited certification body. This represents our desire to be at the forefront of technology and also a path to document how our clients meet this certification.
What near-term opportunities will 2025 present to you and your team?
With all of the changes occurring in enterprise architecture, it is a great chance to step back and consider, “What do we want to build and how do we build it?” The forward-looking steps now provide the agility organizations will need to embrace future development.
What’s a key trend for your industry in 2025, and why do you think it’s important?
Everyone is discussing AI, and with good cause. This changes and develops business operations in the same way as the migration from on-premise environments to the cloud. Organizations need to consider this in a holistic manner – from internal operations and external offerings to third-party services and threat response.
