This is also a great time to catch the breakout sessions that you weren’t able to attend. The full two-day event began with workshops and meet ups followed by the Awards Luncheon and Opening General Session, EmPowered by FIS, with Discover’s Joy Canonigo speaking about the Power of the Pact – a great topic for our community of payment peers. Congratulations to the nominees and winners! After two full Breakout rounds in the afternoon, we celebrated with the Networking Reception and Virtual Auction, EmPowered by Global Payments. Thank you to all who donated and bid during our most successful auction ever! Be on the lookout for more opportunities to network through our post event ConneX sessions. Wednesday began early with a Fitness Class provided by STAT Wellness and EmPowered by Talus Pay. Our high-energy morning session with passionate speaker Jennifer Keitt challenged us to “Make Your Superpowers Unlimited” and use those powers to improve our lives and organizations. It was such an engaging experience! More Breakout rounds followed, focused on the Power of Career Development and Power of Knowledge. And then the special announcement was made during the Lunch and General Session, EmPowered by Recruiter.com: PayTech Women Make Their Mark. After a dramatic reveal of our new name and a champagne toast, attendees received special PTW keepsakes to remember the special event. Our final hours were busy with another round of educational Breakouts and culminated with our closing session, EmPowered by FIS, at the College Football Hall of Fame: Betting on You: How Poker Strategies Will Transform Your Career. It was game on as attendees learned powerful skills to accelerate their careers. Special thanks to NCR and Payroc for the delicious desserts and to Protiviti for the closing Wine Down event!
